Info slide: The Kurds are ethnic minorities that span across Syria, Turkey, and Iraq. They have for so long sought for a state of their own. In 1970, Iraq agreed to create an Autonomous Administrative Division for the Kurds where they could enjoy self-governance, exercise legislative capacities, appropriate their resources, and command their armed forces. The Autonomous Region is however still within Iraq and its leadership is still directly answerable to the Central Government of Iraq. 

Rap beefs, or lyrical conflicts between rappers, are a long-standing tradition in hip-hop culture, often manifested in songs, battles, and public statements, serving as a test of skill and a way to gain recognition. In recent times, it is often used to validate the hierarchical position of rappers in the music industry.

In a reported interview granted by Nnamdi Azikiwe in 1975, he explained that during the deliberations of the 1954 constitution conference there was a suggestion raised by Obafemi Awolowo to include a secession clause in the constitution - that would make provisions for any region to secede if they felt the need to. 

As narrated: the idea of a secession clause was however vehemently opposed by other figures present at the conference and the 'overall decision' reached was that the secession clause should be excluded from the constitution.

The Governments of Francophone countries in Africa are currently implementing vigorous policies that seek to eliminate the imperialistic influences and colonial-motivated attachments with France. For example; Burkina Faso recently closed down all French Military Bases, cut ties with foreign companies in charge of road development and switched to local companies, massively pay off debts, e.t.c.

Niger and Mali are joining in the movement too.

These Governments have attributed the backwardness of their country to colonial influence.
